Help provide Thanksgiving dinner for needy families in partnership with St. Agnes Dorothy Day Room, LaSalle Academy, Hope Partnership and Parkesburg Point Youth Center!
Saint Patrick Parish’s annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, Turkeys to the Table, is asking for donations of all the sides and fixings for Thanksgiving dinners. Donations can be placed in the back of Church starting the weekend of October 19th and concluding on November 11th.
We are excited to announce that we are trying out two new book fair companies this year. We will have an Ignatious Book Fair that will run from Sunday, November 10th until Thursday, November 14th. Ignatious is a Catholic company that promises to provide "a selection of Christian and secular works that inspire, educate, and allow children to explore the complementary nature of faith and literature, inviting a deeper connection with both." We want to especially thank Mrs. Jennifer Chomko for researching new book fair options and putting us in touch with Ignatious.
Ignatious Press was founded in 1978, and in 2023, they partnered with Ave Maria University to create Ignatious Book Fairs.
Please consider signing up for a time slot to help our youngest students make their book fair wish lists.
The book fair will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from Monday, November 11th through Thursday, November 14th. We will also have two family events:
Sunday, November 10th from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and
Wednesday, November 13th from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Please come support our book fair! All purchases will benefit St. Patrick School.
Our second fair is scheduled to run during Catholic Schools Week (January 27th through January 31st) and it will be with Literati Book Fairs. Look for more details towards the end of December.
*Please remember that you may not sign up to volunteer for Hot Lunch or Recess volunteer until you have completed your Clearances.
